The Theatre Project Basics

Auditioning
  • Arrive earlier than your audition time.
  • Bring all necessary sheet music, tracking, or phone accessories.
  • Dress in attire comfortable to move in.
  • Prepare an audition slate.  
  • Confidence is key!
  • Check your email that we have on file for additional audition information. If you do not receive emails from The Theatre Project, please call us at 770-819-3285 so we can update your records to include your correct email. 
  • Audition Workshops are hosted by The Theatre Project occasionally. These are the perfect opportunity to hone in on your skills or learn the basics of auditioning.

Base Layers
Base layers must be worn under costumes. Think athletic wear such as leggings and bike shorts. Costumes are provided but cast members are required to provide their own base layers. 
Shoes
Cast members must provide jazz or character shoes. Cast will be notified of which to wear.

Sheet Music for auditions can be found on websites like https://www.musicnotes.com & Backing Tracks on https://www.musicalpracticetracks.com, but there are many other websites that offer similar services.
