The Theatre Project F.A.Q.

What do I need to prepare for an audition?
What to prepare for "Freaky Friday":
  • A 32-bar cut/1-minute song selection from a contemporary musical or pop rock song that compliments the score of Freaky Friday. Sheet music is required in the proper key or a backing track is needed. An accompanist will be provided. We will only provide a speaker & AUX cord.
  • Everyone will be taught a movement combination and should come prepared with proper dance attire (i.e. clothing you can move in comfortably and proper footwear).
  • A 1-minute monologue from a play will also be required for those auditioning for any lead roles.

*If necessary, Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, August 13th.

Auditions last for roughly one hour.

Check out our blog for tips & video tutorials for auditioning in the near future.
